Based on the Emulex OneConnect Universal CAN family, the MC-CNAI 12E provides connectivity to a10 Gbit/s network and provides FCoE over a Data Center Bridging infrastructure for networking and storage, reducing capital expenses (CapEx) for adapters, switches and cables, and operational expenses (OpEx) for power, cooling and IT administration. The MC-CNAI 12E provides two physical ports, and each physical port may be partitioned into four unique LAN functions, or three physical functions for LAN and one for storage.

The MC-CNAI 12E supports high-performance offload for TCP/IP (TOE), iSCSI and FCoE protocols over a common Ethernet network to provide maximum bandwidth with minimum use of CPU resources.
