Rohde & Schwarz R&S LANCOM OW-602 is an outdoor wireless access point designed to deliver reliable, secure connectivity for demanding external environments. Built with an IP67-rated, ruggedized housing and a wide operating temperature range, the unit supports uninterrupted outdoor operation in harsh weather and temperature extremes. The OW-602 offers dual-band Wi?Fi 6 and Wi?Fi 5 compatibility with a combined 1.2 Gbps maximum data rate on 5 GHz and multi-SSID support to handle guest, corporate, and IoT traffic with band steering and fast roaming to keep users connected.
Connectivity is simplified with a single Gigabit Ethernet port that supports PoE and a power injector option for installations without local power, plus four detachable omni-directional antennas for adaptable coverage. The access point supports cloud management through the LANCOM Management Cloud and standard remote protocols like SNMP, enabling centralized configuration and monitoring. Enterprise-grade security options including WPA3, WPA2, RADIUS authentication, and a wide range of EAP methods help protect network access and user data. Bluetooth 5.1 LE and IoT compatibility enable integration of sensor and device ecosystems alongside high-performance Wi?Fi services.
